After scoring millions of views already with the original version, Dutch DJ/producer duo Afro Bros now releases a Spanish version of its big hit ’18+’ featuring Ghetto Flow. It’s out now on Spinnin’ Records, including an invigorating, summer styled video.
Afro Bros (consisting of Dutch DJ/producers Rashid Badloe and Giordano Ashruf) kicked off its DJ career around 2006. Quickly, the duo made itself known with its fresh mix of music styles, mixing latin house, afro house, moombahton, house and urban, while playing some of the most well known clubs and festivals in Europe.
Producing their own records meant a new chapter in the guys’ career, scoring their first commercial success in 2010 with ‘Dubbelfriss’, followed by more singles, remixes and bootlegs. This resulted in millions of worldwide streams and downloads, including support from artists like Major Lazer, Diplo, DJ Chuckie, DJ Snake, Hardwell and Carnage, while the duo itself started performing internationally, touring from Europe and Africa to Asia and South America.
After five years touring, the Afro Bros decided to bring something new and released ’18+’, an urban song with extremely catchy chords starting out as a joke, resulting in a global hit tune. By now, the official video is counting over four million views, while the track was also streamed several million times.
Following this success, the Afro Bros were signed with renowned music label Spinnin’ Records, where they now release an exciting Spanish version of ’18+’ featuring Ghetto Flow. And again, even before its official release, the track is receiving praise and support, including Pitbull playing it on his Globalization radio show on SiriusXM.
“We’d like to continue to reach a worldwide audience with our unique music style. So it made sense to sign with Spinnin’ Records and release a Spanish version of ’18+’. We already received many requests for this, and feel it fits perfectly with our latin vibes. Hope you enjoy it!” – Afro Bros
