Dancing With Stars 400th episode tonight featured dance music’s Tritonal and Cash Cash’s ‘Untouchable’
The entire planet seems to be glued to TV when DWTS is on. Tonight was the show’s 400th episode and dance music fans got a little treat.
Olympic gymnast Simone Biles and Sasha Farber tango’d their way through Untouchable from Tritonal and Cash Cash
It’s nice to know they received the highest score of the night dancing to such a great dance song. Check out some of the highest scores as well as the performance to ‘Untouchable’ below.
Charo and Keo Motsep – Judges Score: 21/40
Entertainment icon Charo is paired with perennial underused dancer Keo Motsepe. It’s a match made in Sequin Heaven. Charo’s salsa, much like herself, is a total blast but a little messy, and when the judges critique her technique, she goes rogue and tries to physically attack them. It’s iconic Charo. Keo has his hands full.
Erika Jayne and Gleb Savchenko – Jdges Score: 24/40
Erika Jayne of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fame is the most self-indulgent dancer of the night, dancing a Salsa… to her own song, which is peak Dancing with the Stars. The Salsa was, admittedly, a stretch from a conventional Salsa, but who cares? DWTS need a show pony unicorn, and it’s clearly Erika Jayne. And she is bringing a whole new fleet of fans to Monday night’s dance off.
Rashad Jennings and Emma Slater – Judges Score: 31/40
Following the football-dance-floor magic tradition, Rashad knocks the judges’ rhinestoned socks off. It doesn’t hurt that Rashad is a fun guy, too. The golden, bedazzled blazer (a DWTS staple) and quick-footed Cha Cha launches Rashad into front-runner status.
Simone Biles and Sasha Farber – Judges Score: 32/40
Of course Simone Biles opened with a tango, that fierce little nugget. Her lines are flawless. Her footing is insane. Simone is clearly a final three contender. But she’s an Olympian — part performance, part machine. If anyone was set to dominate night one, it was Simone.
