Artist Spotlight: dEVOLVE

dEVOLVE is in the Artist Spotlight on Clubhead TV

After hitting 1.2 million Spotify streams with his last single “Higher,” dEVOLVE is keeping the momentum going with his new energy-packed release, “Bad Man,” featuring OYE!!! and Devastator. The song is driven by a hard-hitting dancehall rhythm and a powerful melody that make this track one that’s destined for the festival main stages.

My music reflects influences from all different sounds and that is what dEVOLVE represents to me, it’s about breaking the barriers of specific genres and not allowing my music to be put in a box.” – dEVOLVE

dEVOLVE emerged on the scene in March of 2016 and hasn’t lifted his foot off the pedal since. Based in Miami, dEVOLVE’s music can be described as a genre mashing experience rooted in big room electronic music, with dancehall, trap and hip hop influences. His debut single “Bubble Gum” featured Jamaican dancehall legends T.O.K. and was signed and released by Jillionaire (of Major Lazer)’s Feel Up Records. Following that up with a string of releases and remixes, dEVOLVE’s music has been supported by influential djs and outlets including Apple Beats 1, Major Lazer, Diplo & Friends Radio, BBC Radio 1 Dance Anthems show, SiriusXM BPM, Manufactured Superstars, DJ Five and Eric Delux. In September he dropped “Higher”, a club smashing collaboration with Red Rat that has over 1.5 million Spotify streams, and was named a “Beats1 Banger” by Apple Music. With over 10 original tracks and remixes released in the last six months alone, dEVOLVE shows no signs of slowing down, and is staking his claim for a spot on some of next summer’s festival stages.
